Presenting your mail: How to load parcels into a red sleeved York Hi I’m Lesley, from the Royal Mail Business Support Centre. If you’ve been asked to post your parcels in Yorks, I’ll show you
how. You will need to use separate Yorks for each
product and label them accordingly. First, apply the brakes on the York. Load heavier items neatly stack them up and
where possible keep the address information facing up. Continue this for your remaining
parcels ensuring no items extend above the side walls, the total gross weight of the
York must not exceed 250kg. Finally, secure your mail with the restraining straps, starting from the bottom and working up. For safety each York should be moved separately,
pushing it from the yellow handles on the break end.
